KidKrusha
KidKrusha began in October 2003 when Andrew Blake set up the dual identity in the wake of his insomnia and following the death of. Began working on experimental audio deficiency. Musically the tracks includes hints of Industrial Drum’n’Bass, Ambient noise and Dance Drone.
The templates of Kidkrusha’s album tracks are augmented by an incredible wealth of detail in both beats and backdrops. Cascading flumes of gutter-noise torment the edges of ‘The Noise of Nightmares’: They heave and bend, wavering in pitch, contorting into snatches of tortured melody. Close listening reveals that the squall is actually tight cluster of dozens of drones, added and subtracted to shape the music into grit-teethed crescendos and dizzying passages of spiraling, exquisitely controlled chaos.
Currently Kidkrusha is looking to begin work on his anticipated new album for private release in June. ‘The Noise of Nightmares’ is considered for free release at SOAC gigs to promote the Kidkrushas’ dark activities.
